Steps to create a learning unit
- Go to Design and planning
- Click "Create a learning unit"
- Select the type of learning unit, which are General and OBEM. Select one you want to create
General- There is only 1 learning outcome.
- Learners can learn at their own pace through videos or any other forms designed by the instructor.
- Each learning unit can contain up to 4 teaching sessions. Each session should not exceed 6-week duration.
- Assessment activities could be provided in the learning unit, but they are not required. However, no certificate will be awarded.
OBEM- There is only 1 learning outcome.
- In order to assist the learner to achieve the learning outcome, interactive sessions such as virtual meetings, reviews, and feedback are provided.
- Each learning unit can contain up to 4 teaching sessions. Each session should not exceed 6-week duration.
- At least two assessment activities that are aligned with the learning outcome are required for the learning unit.
- The instructor is required to assess the learner individually in order to grant a Learning Outcome Certificate.
- Define a title of learning unit
- Describe your learning unit short summary
- Fill out a description of learning unit (Optional)
- Describe what are learners going to do in your learning unit (Optional)
- Determine how should leaners prepare for this learning unit (Optional)
- Determine who is this learning unit for (Optional)
- Fill the number of online meeting (12 times at the maximum) or If you don't require online meeting, fill 0.
- Insert a keyword of Ideas for cover image of your learning unit (at least 3 items)
- Select the visibility of learning unit
- Listed: anyone can enroll in this learning unit, it will show up in search results and your learning unit detail page.
- Unlisted: only people with the link provided will be able to see and enroll in this learning unit.
- Click "Create"
